Nans-les-Pins

About the guide

nanslespins.fr is an independent guide to Nans-les-Pins and the Sainte-Baume massif. How it is written, where its information comes from and how to correct it.

This translation is automatic and has not been reviewed yet.

nanslespins.fr is neither the website of the town nor that of the tourist office. It is an independent guide, written to make you want to discover the village and the mountain on foot, with the concern of stating nothing that cannot be verified.

Where the information comes from

The hiking routes are those of the Sainte-Baume regional nature park, published on Chemins des Parcs and as open data under the Licence Ouverte 2.0; their tracks have been enriched with IGN elevations. The place pages start from OpenStreetMap data, completed and checked progressively. The heritage articles draw on Wikipédia, the official websites of the sanctuary and the Park, and local publications. Every page cites its sources at the bottom and says whether its information has already been checked on site.

The photographs

The photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and from authors who have released them under free licences. Each is credited, with its licence, on the credits page. The base maps are provided by OpenFreeMap from OpenStreetMap data.

Correcting and completing

A closed business, a changed opening time, a historical mistake, a forgotten place: write to us from the contact page. Shopkeepers and hosts who wish to appear or update their page can do so in the same way.
