Abeilles et miel de la Sainte-Baume
A beekeeper at Plan-d'Aups, a hundred and fifty hives moved between Hyères and the Calanques, and four honeys carrying the regional park's own mark.
Mathieu Ghis took up beekeeping in 2016, after a first career in the food industry. He now runs a hundred and fifty hives, moved from one flowering to the next between Hyères and the Calanques national park, with the Plan-d'Aups plateau as their base.
The honeys
Four of his honeys carry the Valeurs Parc naturel régional de la Sainte-Baume mark: rosemary, garrigue, wildflower and Plan-d'Aups honeydew. They also fall under the IGP Miel de Provence and the Label Rouge.

Sales are at the farm, 388 boulevard de la Quille in Plan-d'Aups, at the local markets and in a few fine grocers. Call +33 7 89 03 33 66 before going: the opening hours have not yet been checked with the producer.
