Saint-Laurent and Saint-Éloi festival

The votive festival of Nans-les-Pins, every year in early August: processions, blessing of the Saint-Laurent fire on the church square, farandole and grand dances on the cours. The 102nd edition took place from 30 July to 4 August 2026.

The great traditional Provençal festival of Nans-les-Pins honours Saint Lawrence, patron of the parish, and Saint Eligius, patron of carters and farriers. It takes over the village for nearly a week at the turn of July and August.

The programme

The 2026 edition, the one hundred and second, opened on Thursday 30 July with a cabaret evening. On the Friday, a gathering on the place du 18-Juin-1940, a procession to the cemetery and a wreath-laying at the war memorial. On the Saturday evening, the blessing of the Saint-Laurent fire on the church square is followed by a farandole and then a grand dance on the cours. The following days alternate masses, processions, meals and dances until the Tuesday.

The festivities take place mainly on the cours Général-de-Gaulle and at the parking de la Ferrage; admission is free. The detailed programme and meal bookings are published by the Comité officiel des fêtes, on 04 94 78 95 91.
